The Team Behind Kitroom

Discover the people and purpose behind Kitroom — helping clubs, schools, and communities take control of their gear, bookings, and maintenance with ease.

About Kitroom | Australian Equipment Management

We felt your pain...we wanted to change it!

Community sports and activities run on volunteers.

The problem is that too much volunteer time gets lost chasing equipment, managing bookings, organising facilities and answering the same questions over and over again.

After years working in technology and years volunteering in community sport, we realised clubs weren't struggling because people didn't care.

They were struggling because the right information was often in the wrong place.

Kitroom was built to change that.

Because volunteers deserve better tools.

Simple tools that help clubs organise their equipment, facilities, maintenance and bookings, so volunteers can spend less time managing chaos and more time building great communities.

What we stand for:

  • Less Drama, More Play: Features that save time, not steal it.
  • For Grassroots First: Communities, clubs and schools are our north star.
  • Transparent Pricing: No funny business or surprise fees.
  • Security & Privacy: Role-based access, least-privilege by default.
  • Real Support: Human help when you need it.

How we work:

We iterate with real organisations, clubs and schools, ship improvements frequently, and keep the product friendly enough for the newest volunteer to “get it” on day one.
