Richard Barry

Operations

Richard is a tech-exec with considerable experience developing and leading organisations through digital markets.

Richard is also a football team manager at his local community football club and spends football seasons at training sessions, chasing kit, organising players and parents, and trying to track down ‘who has what and when they are giving it back’ for his team!

Richard believes that with solutions, whilst ‘it’s great to be clever, it’s much better to be useful’ so decided the time had come for something useful to manage community activity equipment… so got started with Kitroom!

Katie Beukes

Finance

Katie brings a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in the start-up space where adaptability and a customer focus are key.

Having been involved with country sport from a young age and club sports over the years, she understands the importance of clear systems to make the administration easier for what are primarily volunteer run clubs.

Known for her logical and practical mindset, Katie combines financial insight with a customer first philosophy.

Terry Aarts

Partnerships

Terry has built his career in go-to-market strategy, start-ups, scale-ups, and business and commercial development, working across the sports and technology industries. He brings a strong focus on building solutions that are practical, simplistic, and designed to deliver real value.

Alongside his professional career, Terry has been involved in sporting clubs his whole life, including time as a semi-professional athlete. He’s seen first-hand the challenges clubs face in managing equipment, understanding how much time, energy and money can be lost chasing gear.

This mix of professional expertise and lifelong sporting involvement drives Terry’s passion for helping Kitroom make club life simpler and more efficient.
